 I will be teaching a wonderful workshop here at Eleven morning where we will be making  musical-moving-found-object sculpture, they will be so cute you could eat them.

Portrait of a Woman

This is a workshop that will be ongoing this year.

It is about women and how we let others see us, how we see ourselves, and how we serve.

We will be doing self portraits on French Ceramic platters.  The work will not be confined to one medium and it does not have to be figurative.

An online gallery will be created to show the completed work and a show at a local gallery will also show the work.

You do not have to come to Eleven Morning to participate.

Eleven Morning is the private studio of artist Gina Gabriell in Northern California.  Gabriell is a collected textile and ceramic artist,  author and illustrator.

I met Anna while standing in line at a shop.  She was wiggling, twirling around and being a little girl.  When she turned to look at me I thought she looked just like one of my dolls.
